Madison relays Melissa's request to Travis and insists they rescue Harry and Willa. Travis reluctantly agrees to speak with George.
Daniel searches the wheelhouse while Strand is gone. He discovers a map of Baja California, Mexico together with a loaded MP5 sub-machine gun, inside a locked compartment.
Strand, alone, talks to someone on his satellite phone. I'll be there. On the boat, Nick tells Madison and Travis that he found poison in George's office and predicts that George is planning on " Jonestown-ing " his family.

This part of the novel was especially enjoyable for me because I think bridges are creepy in general. Yes, they are beautiful from a distance.
And romantic. And historical. But really. Driving a car over something that could collapse at any moment is terrifying to me. So I completely get the anxiety and trauma associated with this bridge.
Throw in some weird supernatural nonsense. I would be out of there super fast! And because no matter how deep you bury them, they find their way to the surface.
It deals with relevant issues and, perhaps, gives a new light and perspective on how kids dealing with those issues feel.
It also is a bloody good haunting novel. Whether real or imagined, the ghosts we believe to be real will always be as powerful as we allow them to be.
I absolutely loved how this was handled, and explored and ultimately, how this story ended. I won this book in a giveaway from Teen Reads and am thrilled I was able to read it!

He has ADHD and is considered by everyone to be a screw up. On the night Theo finally has the courage to tell Paige he loves her, he gets into an argument with a bully trying to force her to climb onto a bridge.
She jumps between the boys just as Theo is about to punch the creep. Now Theo is on probation, his self esteem at an all time low. Oh Na Paige, a science geek, suffers from anxiety and a crush on her best friend Theo.
Oh Natalie Richards, why did you take write a a book that depicted mental illness so well and ruin it by adding supernatural element.
As someone who has worked with kids with these diagnoses, nothing in his behavior screamed ODD. He had empathy and most of his troubles resulted from impulse control problems, not overt opposition.
It muddied the waters of mental illness. Mar 18, Paige Green rated it liked it. All opinions are my own. Synopsis: Theo's always been impulsive.
Mystery and romance and a story about struggling with ADHD? Sounds like a great book, and for the most part this was.
I thought this book had awesome character development and the plot was intriguing. The book discussed a variety of mental health issues and I really liked how it was woven in the book.
This book had a lot of stuff going on in it. The pacing felt off to me and I felt that the characters were too reliant on each other.
Jan 30, Jessica White rated it liked it. I really, really enjoy reading Natalie D. Richards books.
It tackles several topics including mental illness, hauntings, college, and friendship. Paige and Theo have been best friends for years, but Theo finally wants more.
Too bad Paige is trying to impress another boy Something terrible happens the night of the party and their friendship is ruined. Bad things always happen on the bridge, but they never thought it would happen to the Guys.
Bad things always happen on the bridge, but they never thought it would happen to them. Paige begins questioning her entire friendship with Theo.
She knows their relationship is toxic, it could never work. Especially since she put a lock on the bridge with their initials on it Could that have cursed them?
After 6 months apart, strange things start happening to them. Theo is hearing voices, voices reviving conversations he had during the night of the party.
The party that quite literally, ruined his life. It must just be a side effect of his medication. But the more it happens, the more he questions his sanity.
Paige starts finding things she lost the night of the party. Things like her earring, purse, shoes, even her own teeth Maybe it's Theo playing a joke on her, but maybe it's more than that.
If we're being honest, the supernatural side was a little too much for me. I don't usually read books that have hauntings, ghosts, the unknown, etc..
It just seemed a bit far fetched and out of place for me. Sure, you could argue symbolism, but I just didn't enjoy that part.
That being said, I still thoroughly enjoyed the story and loved reading about Theo and Paige. Even though I just now got around to reading it, whoops!
Jan 26, Kimberly rated it really liked it Shelves: kidlitexchange , young-adult. Theo and Paige have the most unlikely friendship.
He has a lot of reckless energy and lack of focus that constantly defines him as a bad boy. She is polite and values her academics. She suffers from severe anxiety and panic attacks.
Both seem to somehow calm each other down and both have daydreamed about taking their relationship to the next level. All of that changes with one accident.
An accident where Theo finds himself kidlitexchange partner —— All opinions are my own. An accident where Theo finds himself punching Paige in the face.
Months later both are haunted by the actions of that awful night. Both think they are crazy when they start experiencing unexplainable flashbacks and encountering odd circumstances.
Both have to struggle to find a way to move on. I was completley surprised by this young adult thriller. It has a touch of paranormal thrown in that keeps you guessing about what exactly is happening.
I was intrigued right from the very start with the storyline and the setting with the haunted bridge. I really enjoyed both!!! They were incredibly believable.
You felt each raw emotion that they were battling against. I loved that it covers teen mental health issues. The characters deal with therapy, medication, social problems and it also shows how is affects the people around them.
Sep 20, Tiana rated it really liked it. A twisted romance that crawls over your skin and turns everything you think you know on its head. Theo and Paige are the best of friends until one night when things go awry and then they are simply not anything anymore.
However, evil soon drags them back to the bridge where it all ended in a mix of visions and other terror and the only way for them to let go of their demons may just be with their working together.
I fell into this book with unbidden music playing in my ears. Music that made me fe A twisted romance that crawls over your skin and turns everything you think you know on its head.
Music that made me feel off and twisted and at times angry seriously one major part of this book made me so mad. This book got me in the mood for October with its dripping paranormal terror ripping me towards adventure.
Perfect for the coming months fall months We All Fall Down will creep you out and entice you into its dark pages where evil lurks within the bridge.
Apr 08, Minni rated it liked it. Paige is a lot like me, but she goes to extremes in the end. Oct 12, Georgie Laird added it Shelves: dnf.
I received this ARC in a contest I won online. I was in no way compensated for this review. It's completely honest and voluntary. I entered to win this ARC on a whim.
I had enjoyed Natalie D. Sadly, it truly was just an air of mystery. Though keep in mind, I am still suffering from a cold. So maybe that could've effected my reading.
I'm not sure really. Paige and Theo were the best of friends, Paige had a crush on Theo for the longest time, but seeing as he was never interested, she tried to move on.
And naturally, at this precise time, Theo realizes he has feelings for Paige. And when they're at a party one night, Theo accidentally punched Paige when he was aiming for another guy.
This basically brought their friendship to an end. It's some months later during the summer that Theo finds himself working on the bridge that played a role in the setting of the disaster that ruined his friendship with Paige.
He sees all these "locks of love" or whatever you want to call them, attached to the railing and is surprised when he sees one with initials that are identical to his and Paige's.
Not sure what it means just yet, he brushes it off, but then fate takes the wheel and thrusts him and Paige back together again after months of separation.
Paige isn't sure what to make of seeing Theo again. Her parents had taken out a restraining order on Theo to keep the two of them apart.
She's still hurt emotionally by what Theo did. So you can imagine how awkward things are. Especially since it looks like someone or something is trying to constantly remind them of that night.
Paige is finding little things, like an earring she wore that night but lost during the chaos, her shoes that she could've sworn she threw out after the hospital gave them back to her.
Things are just very definitely off. What kept getting me confused is the root of the problem between Paige and Theo. I get it! I truly, truly do.
But Theo didn't intend to hurt. He punched her by accident. True, if he hadn't been drinking he might have had the foresight to withdraw the punch.
But it happened. I kept trying to think that if the guy I was crushing on punched me in the face really hard, enough to knock teeth out, blood and all that junk.
How would I feel towards him? And I'll be honest, it was hard to think about it. I want to say that I would be able to forgive him for it. He didn't mean to punch "me" in the face, but the other guy.
Paige had been trying to defend the guy Theo was aiming at, so really, it's truly an accident. I just didn't understand the animosity that lingered for Paige, but it could've been more her parents than her.
It was just confusing to be honest. Then we're led to believe that there's this air of mystery to everything.
And don't get me wrong, it was odd and sort of mysterious, but I guess I didn't really understand the meaning behind it.
It felt like it was supposed to be something supernatural, but I don't know, my head cold could be screwing with my perception because it just felt a little flat to me.
The ending was mostly satisfactory. What with my misunderstanding of the reasons behind everything that happened, it didn't really feel very resolved like.
There were some answers too of course, those were kind of like Ah ha-moments, but also like, how did you miss that, certain characters? Sadly, this one just didn't hold up to my expectations.
I remember really liking One was Lost last year and had hoped for the same kind of edgy, creepy, thrilling read here and sadly, it was just sort of meh.
Overall Rating 2. Jul 19, Kerrington Hood rated it really liked it Shelves: arcs. They felt so real and developed it didn't take long for me to fall in love with them and empathize with them.
Both tend to differ case by case but it was easy to identify and relate to the characters. My main issues are 1 the story starts right with the action and I'd prefer a little bit of story including Theo and Paige before the incident.
And 2 3. And 2 the explanation of the ending needs more information as it was a tad bit confusing and I wish it was explained better.
It wasn't done poorly, just not enough. My favorite aspect is definitely the writing. It transition from creepy to funny to suspenseful smoothly and so naturally.
It pulls you in. I really enjoyed the ADHD rep. Talking freely about medication management and how a lot of people cast it off as "not being real" are everyday things, it was rep'd wonderfully.
This is definitely one to remember! I'd recommend this for fans of Lisa McMans Wake trilogy. Oct 11, Shannon Oakes rated it really liked it Shelves: kidlitexchange-review-books.

Richards 4. They are both secretly in love with the other, but neither wants to admit it. Then, one fateful, traumatic night, their relationship shatters due to a very unfortunate accident.
Months later, Thank you kidlitexchange for providing me with the free review copy of this book. After many strange and seemingly supernatural events, they come to realize it is their own traumatic history that haunts them.
In the end, they decide to make a fresh start and let go of the chains of the past that are holding them and their relationship down.
Aug 30, Trisha rated it liked it. Theo - his jitters and distraction, his perfectly displayed ADHD. As a parent with a kid with it - I thought it was well done.
