If you like an entertaining comedy and action movie with lots of great stars you should check out this Red 2 DVD.

Good ol' Frank Moses is still trying to enjoy being retired, but it's just not possible. Marvin still thinks people are after them, and he's right, this time in the shape of his former buddy Han Cho-Bai, and a mysterious conspiracy to free a mad scientist who could cause the world to be destroyed.
It's crash bang wallop all the way, proving that you really can have laughs and mindless destruction at the same time. And of course, there's the immortal line where Catherine Zeta Jones says she find bald men attractive.
I'm bald. As a film excellent and as a sequel, brilliant. OK, so we've probably seen the plot or storyline a few times or certainly something very similar but the way ALL these actors all gel-together is marvellous.
For once the 'extras' are good with a gag reel and 'behind the scenes featurette' rayher than the Directors Commentary, which I think is ridiculous to say is an extra.

A good fun filled romp, not quite up to the standard of the original and indeed nothing in the script to challenge the skills of the actors. The action was fast and furious, good sound, though more could have been done to engage the rear channels of a system.

Moses and company then find documents in The Frog's possession that provide them with information on Nightshade and the man behind it, a brilliant physicist named Edward Bailey.
With the help of MI6 assassin Victoria Winslow, they break into the asylum where Bailey has been held for more than 30 years and free him. Bailey tells the group exactly what Nightshade is and where it is located.
They must travel to both Moscow and London to secure Nightshade, again with the assassin Han still on their tail.
This leads to a series of car chases and gun battles as Moses and the others attempt to save the day.

I'm assuming because of the 6 seconds it played on my computer. I did see this in the theater and liked it better than '1'. The one star is my way of complaining about Amazon policy.
It's actually a pretty god flick,. Red 2 was a worthy sequel. Frank and Marvin are wanted again for something called Operation Nightshade, a secret plan to smuggle a nuclear weapon into Moscow during the Cold War.

Like the first Red movie there is a good mix of action, comedy and characters. Right at the start, Frank Moses is being held by the government when Jack Horton and a group of mercenaries attempt to kidnap him and kill a number of government agents, before Moses kills most of the mercs.
Moses is saved by Marvin who re-unites him with his girlfriend Sarah. This is the interplay that makes the movie engaging as it has lots of guns and explosions, but it doesn't take itself so seriously and is always happy with throwing in some comedic moments.
The characters are all a little quirky as well which makes them fun to watch. Like sooooo good!!! This movie is so fun and exciting! Bruce W.

It's a must see! I thoroughly enjoyed this film, especially Helen Mirren, whom I have been a very infatuated fan for a number of years.
The entire cast is fantastic. The entire cast is great and despite my personal favorites, it is quite difficult to select on or two over the rest, they all did an excellent job.
A perfect sequel for "RED". Okay if you haven't seen this film yet you must. It's a great continuation of the story threads started in RED 1.
Willis is great in this as well as John Malkovich and Helen Mirren. My only complaint is that Brian Cox's character isn't in this one as much, pretty much a passing cameo.
Who would love this movie? Is it as good as the first? Like with most sequels the answer is "not quite" but it is worth the purchase if you loved RED.
